3DS Pedia Blog Rules

Short blog posts will be deleted

If you have something that's really short to say, it's better to use your profile status update instead. Blog posts are meant to have a lot of content in it for viewers to read.

Of course, you do not need a lot of text content for :

• Music uploads
• Artwork
• And stuff similar to that

Spam, flooding and links

Spam will be deleted from the blog. Flooding the blog with content is also frowned upon. Please also post in the appropriate category when creating a new blog post. Linking to shady websites isn't allowed (eg. when using the external download option). Please contact a staff member if you're iffy about something.

Blogging about members

If you have something negative to say about a certain member of this forum, we don't really want to read about it in the blog. If you've encountered a problem with someone in the Nookling Junction, please report it with the full details to a staff member.

Do not abuse the rating system

Abusing the rating system will result in your blogging privilege being taken away. If you constantly give a member's blog post a low rating (eg. just because you don't like them) without providing a valid reason, that is considered as abusing the rating system.

Q: How to create a blog post?
A: It's simple, actually. Navigate to the 3DS Pedia Blog and click the "Add Blog Post" button :

Q: How to make a comment on a blog post?
A: Go to the blog post and scroll down to the bottom of the content. Find the text "Click the stars to rate and make a comment" and click on one of the stars, type up your comment and hit "Submit Comment".

Q: Can members have their own blog URL and how do I find it?
A: Yes! Go to the member's blog post and click on their username in the right-hand sidebar :

Alternatively, you can find your blog URL by navigating to the blog and selecting "Your Blog Posts" from the sub navigation menu.

Q: How to upload files that are not supported? (eg. music recordings, etc)
A: Compress the file as a zip file and then upload it. If you're using a Windows 7 computer for example, right-click the file and select "Send to" followed by "Compressed (zipped) folder". Do not zip and upload any .exe files.
