I turned around slowly. A girl was standing there. "Hello! You're new to Mysteria, right? What's your name again...? Ah, um... Raisin! Is that your name?" She was lively and energetic, but seemed a bit clumsy at the same time. I replied with a simple "No. My name is Raven..." Her face flushed with embarrassment. "A-Ah! I'm so sorry! I'm the new accountant, so I'm glad to see a fresh face around here too!" She kinda reminded me of that clumsy dumb friend that an anime protagonist usually has, with her hairstyle, interesting eyes, and her armor. "What exactly is going on? Is this a video game of something?" I asked. "Weeelll... Mysteria usually picks people that are determined to be in this world... so I think you just have to train." Nothing made sense. Suddenly, I got teleported to some kind of gym. I heard a voice behind me. "HEY! PUNK! You're new, aren't you? Pssh. You look weak. Drop down and gimme 50!" It was a girl, but she was muscly and had a big, brown ponytail. She also had epic armor. I guess people who work at this "Mysteria" place have special access to cool things. "HEY! Are you deaf?! I SAID DROP DOWN AND GIMME 50! DON'T MAKE THAT 100!" Super intimidating. "Y-yes ma'am!" I said timidly. Looks like she was the gym coach.
I was so out of shape I couldn't even do one push-up.
Suddenly, the coach towered over me, her hands crossed. I thought she was going to give me a serious beat-down, but instead, she looked disappointed. "Hmph. If you're this out of shape, then how are you going to defend the great Mysteria?"
My eyes widened. "W-what? So THIS is what it was for?" I stuttered in confusion. "Yeah, if Mysteria runs short out of soldiers, they find determined Earthlings like you. They also expect you to train your butt off. If you don't, you will hear from the Royal City. That's the last thing you'll ever hear. So you'd better start training, if I were you."
